Selling products and prices
-
Can my image be sold in all the available formats?
Every time you upload an image, Bigoom checks whether it has the necessary requirements to be sold in all the available formats. If not, it means you have not uploaded a high resolution image.
-
How do you calculate the end price of a product?
The end price of each product is calculated like this: Basic price+markup+taxes.
Basic price: production costs.
Markup: What the artist earns. With a standard account the artist gets 80% of this, while with a PLUS account it’s 100%.
Taxes: 21% goes to the taxman.
Of course this does not include shipping costs. -
Can I change the prices of the products on sale?
With a PLUS account you have full control over prices. We set the basic price and the taxes, you decide on the rest.
-
How do I change the prices of the products on sale?
With a PLUS account, under each thumbnail in the gallery you will see the link “Formats and prices”. Click there to change the markup.
-
Is there a maximum price?
No, if you have a PLUS account you can set any price you want.
-
How will I know if someone buys a print?
Bigoom automatically informs you about any sales. Your account page lets you keep track of all your sales.
-
Why haven’t I been notified about an image I know has been sold?
Because the notification is not sent out in real time: before we notify you of a sale, Bigoom must have received the payment, without cancellations or disputes. It usually takes around 24 hours for this to happen.
-
How old do I have to be to sell my works?
You have to be at least 18.
